This is a kit fits the Van’s pre-punched hole in the leading edge. You will need to file/sand the raged “as punched” edge for a nice fit. The 3d printed mount is bonded and screwed to the inside of the leading edge. Match and drill the pre-punched holes into the 3d printed mount, countersink the mount before bonding, dimple the skin for a #6 screw. The lens is just about perfectly flush with the leading edge skin. There is a 1/8” reveal of the 3d printed mount that separates the lens from the leading edge skin. This reveal is also flush to the leading edge skin. I have installed these after paint with out any trouble, you do have to be precise with final fitting. If you currently have leading-edge cut outs for legacy light mounts we can, in rare cases, scale up the 3d print to “surround” the old cut out.
